Abstract

The aim of the study was the assessment of the available prognostic scales for operational risk estimation in patients with critical limb ischemia (CLI) and stenoocclusive aortoiliac disease.

Material and methods. It was made a comparison of the observed complications frequency and the frequency of complications that were predicted using the known scales of perioperative risk assessment in vascular reconstructions. The operative menagement results of 248 patients with CLI and stenoocclusive aortoiliac disease were analyzed. 156 patients underwent bifurcation aorto-femoral bypass (AFB). By 92 patients was performed hybrid reconstruction – endovascular restoration of the iliac arteries and open infraingvinal reconstruction.

Results. Based on the comparison, the medical calculator for risk assessment of vascular reconstructions was developed (patent No. 2015612138 dated February 13, 2015).

Conclusion. Performing hybrid interventions in patients with CLI and stenoocclusive aortoiliac disease reduces the number of complications. The use of the available prognostic risk scales for vascular reconstructions in these patients is justified in patients undergoing AFB operations.
